Preferences

The Preferences dialog groups all of the global xLights settings into a number of pages. On Windows and Linux these pages are listed down the left side of the dialog with an icon for each, and you click a page to display its settings.

The Random Effects tab allows the user to set which effects are used by the Generate Random Effects Right click menu option in the sequencer.

Services

The Services page lets you enable and configure third-party AI services. Once enabled, these services can be used inside xLights to generate color palettes, generate images (for example for the Pictures effect), and assist with automatically mapping imported sequences.
